Candy winner!

Da er jeg for håpentligvis tilbake til litt normaliserte tider. Det har vært en del organisering i forbindelse med bursdagen og feiringen. Men feiringen ble flott! Nå gleder jeg meg til jeg skal på messe i Birmingham, og da kommer bursdagspengene godt med =)

Og nå har jeg trukket en vinner til candy'en min også. Jeg hadde på forhånd valgt å nummerere alle innleggene under candy'en for så å sjekke om vedkommende hadde fulgt instruksene. (Det var helt klart den enkleste for meg.)

Now I'm back to normal days again. It has been some organisation to my birthday and the celebration. And the birthday party was great! I now look forward to go to the NEC in Birmingham, so it was great to get some money for my birthaday =)

Sketchy colors

I dag har jeg laget et bidrag til utfordringen hos Sketchy colors. Jeg har litt dårlig samvittighet for at jeg ikke har levert flere bidrag hos dem. Synes det er viktig at vi (spesielt vi i Norge) støtter opp under dem, når de dyktige damene her hjemme lager en utfordringsblogg også. Det er jo massevis av dem i utlandet så jeg oppfordrer dere herved til å delta, hvis du ikke allerede har gjort det!

I have made a entry for Sketchy colors, a norwegian challenge blog. I have a bit bad conscience because I don't have made so many entries for their challenges. I think it's important that especially we norwegian girs support the very talented girls who have created this challenge blog.

My card is also entered into Simon says challenge "punch it". Created by hand has the theme "Waiting for spring! Kort o Mania's challenge this time is " no motive stamp". Artful inkables has the theme "think spring". I hope a flower is good enough.. Candy shoppe designs challenge is to use something new. I have bought some Distress Ink pads, and the Broken china I used on this card is new. Raise the Bar #1 have their debut and the theme is "debut day". As I told you my ink pads is new, and this origami flower is made in a new techniqe for me as well. Crafty Ann's challenge #6 theme is embossing. I have embossed the paper befor I folded it.

Here is my entry for their Sketchy colors challenge #7 which is a color challenge to use brown and turqouise. / Her er mitt bidrag til Sketchy colors utfordring #7 som er en farge utfordring denne gangen. Oppgaven er å bruke brun/turkis.

The Pixie Cottage meets Magnolia

I dag har jeg prøvd å satt sammen et kort med et Pixie stempel som utgangspunkt. I tillegg ønsket jeg å bruke Magnolia stempel også. Kan nok like godt innrømme først som sist at jeg ikke er helt fornøyd med resultatet denne gangen. Men jeg er fornøyd med selve scenen! Så det er da lyspunkter uansett =)

I have tried to make a card with a Pixie stamp as the main image. I wanted to use a Magnolia stamp too. I must admit that I'm not satisfied with the result, but I think the scene itself turnet out good.

I have managed to fit this card into a several challenges:

Zoom of the images. I love the Pixie Cottage stamp "Winter window". If you haven't been in Michelles store allready it's recommended! Nærbilde av stempeltrykkene. Det er skikkelig flott stempelet til the Pixie Cottage "Winter window". Har du tatt en titt i butikken til Michelle? Det anbefales! Masse flotte stempel!!

The norwegian text says "congratulation", and you can see the flower soft too.

Da har jeg tatt et lite dykk i mine ubrukte stempel igjen. Denne gangen falt valget på sjenerte Hilda fra Motivet. Jeg hadde på forhånd valgt meg fargene sort og rosa, så da ble valget ganske enkelt.

I have dive into my unused stamps again. This time I have choosen shy Hilda from Motivet. I had choosen the color combo black and pink, so it was rather easy to pick this stamp as my image this time.

So for the first time I have taken part in a challenge at Motivet, and I have some others to join too.

Det var lørdagens bidrag. Jeg ble ganske fornøyd med resultatet, det er jo ikke slik hver gang. Men det er jo litt av gleden med denne hobbyen, man vet aldri hvordan resultatet blir.

This was my saturday post. I'm happy with the result of my card this time, it's not always like that. But that's a part of the joy with the cardmaking,you never know how the card turns out in the end.
