Card to a RBK fan

Once again I have to blow away a lot of dust from this blog.

Because sometimes life happens!

But as I have said before,

I will always come back!

The past few weeks I packed away my studio and moved some of

it to a smaller room. Everything is a bit chaotic

and I've been taking care of some UFOs (unfinished objects)

there will soon be a small avalanche of posts

on my other blog Handmade by Anne.

It has been a strange time in the past month,

but now I've got the inspiration to make cards again.

Our daughter has in fact moved to be an exchange student

in Arizona for 10 months, time flies, so now it's only 9 months left!

Can't wait to have her safe back!

But I know she is having a great time ;)

She is a talented blogger, far better than her mother!!

It is so fantastic to be able to follow her through her blog ♥

Enough rambling for now...

The card I will show you today is made to fan of the city's greatest soccer team.

I have "manipulated" the teams logo and put in the name of the boy instead.

Date established is turned into confirmation date.

I always try to create small details that make the card uniqe.

Maybe that's why I'm a "snail scrapper".. LOL

A different book style card, for a sporty man....

How are you doing out there in blogland?

I have been a little bit busy "lately" preparing our son's confirmation,

and last weekend we celebrated the BIG day =)

And as you may know,

I have to slow down now and then,

so thanks a lot for your patience and that you still follow my blog ♥

I can promise that I always will be back ;)

Jeg har vært en del opptatt i forbindelse med

forberedelsene til vår sønns konfirmasjon.

Sist helg ble den STORE dagen feiret =)

This card was reallly a challenge to make.

This man love the nature and is active in many ways.

He likes to play the game Wordfeud too.

I made his name in Wordfeud letters and put

them on a rope (symbolizes mountain climbing).

Kortet er laget på bestilling og det var litt av en utfordring.

Herrekort er ikke min sterke side men etter et utall

runder i tenkeboksen kom jeg omsider i mål.

Resultatet ble jeg fornøyd med til slutt ;)

og det beste av alt og det som betyr mest,

er at giveren ble fornøyd også!

His motto goes like this:

Card without any image.

I don't think I have made a card without any image before.

The challenge for me this time was to do it

as Clean and Simple, and fast as possible *giggle*.

It was a card for my sister birthday yesterday.

Jeg kan ikke huske å ha laget et kort uten motiv før.

Utfordringen jeg ga meg selv var å gjøre det så

"rent og enkelt" som mulig, og så fort som råd var *knis*

Det er noe i uttrykket "skomakerens barn",

men i år skulle søsteren min få et kort på selve dagen!

Og jeg greide det! for flaksen var på min side denne gangen,

da hun tilfeldigvis var på gjennomreise akkurat i dag.... *puh*

A beauty in lilac....

Hi everybody!

How are you today?

Yesterday we got some snow, but today the sun is shining =)

and I'm continuing to make confirmation cards...

This time I have used the Sweet Pea image

"Love is Gone" from Ching-chou Kuik's Fantasy Art Collection.
(I don't think this one looks more sad than the other images
so I think she works well on this types of cards too.)
