Nearly forgot to show you this...

Earlier this year I was published in the norwegian magazine "Ett Trykk". I made a card with a stamp from the Pixie Cottage stamp line. And I was the first who had been published with a creation with a Pixie Stamp! A great honor!!! Of course I sent the magazine to the greatest boss ever!

Tidligere i år var jeg så heldig å få et kort publisert i bladet "Ett trykk". Jeg hadde laget et kort med et stempel fra the Pixie Cottage. Og jeg ble faktisk den aller første som fikk publisert en kreasjon med stempel fra "oss". Og det i seg selv er jo en stor ære =) Bladet ble selvfølgelig sendt til Michelle, verdens beste sjef!

A christmas card...

Finnaly I have manged to finish a christmas card. I used a finished colored image to save some time. This post is short but I hope you enjoy the card.

Endelig har jeg fått laget et julekort innimellom slagene. I dag har sønnen i huset vært hos legen. Han har hovne mandler, men ingen prøver var positive. Den ene mandelen dekker over halve svelget!! Og da overdriver jeg IKKE. =( O jul med din glede sier nå jeg.... Innlegget i dag blir kort, men jeg håper du liker kortet i allefall.

To the cutest little boy!

The days flies away... My husband had a operation inside his ear last week and my MIL has stayed here for one week. She fell on the snow and broke her arm, just in time for the prepering to christmas. And on the top, my dear grandmother lays in hospital. So as you may understand I have not been able to create anything. But I have a altered box to show you. Last sunday it was Robins baptism (my cousines baby) and I made this for him.

Dagene flyr, litt for fort nå i disse førjuls tider... Forrige uke ble mannen i huset operert inne i øret. Svigermor har vært her ei uke, hun datt og brakk armen, og trenger litt hjelp. På toppen av det hele er min kjære bestemor innlagt på sykehuset. Så jeg har ikke hatt anledning til å lage noe... Føler sterkt på abstinenset nå. Men jeg kan i alle fall vise dere denne boksen jeg laget til forrige helg. Da var det barnedåp i familien.

A vintage gift tag.

Jula nærmer seg med stormskritt og tiden vil vise om jeg kommer i mål. Her har jeg laget EN pakkelappe, går det i dette tempoet blir jeg i allefall ikke ferdig dette året *knis* Men, jeg lager ikke slike lapper til alle gavene, mottaker velges med omhu... kanskje jeg er litt fæl sånn, men de som ikke vet å sette pris på det får nøye seg med en enklere utgave.

Soon it's Christmas. I don't understad.... it's coming earlier and earlier every year *giggle* I have made ONE vintage gift tag this time. I think I have to find another gear if I should be done by Christmas...

I have made some gift tags, in the style clean and simple.
I think it's nice to use self-made gift tags on the christmas gifts.
This stamp is easy to color too =) and I'm still practising
with my ProMarkers so this image is perfect.

Glitter

Endelig har jeg fått laget et kort hvor jeg har brukt et "nytt" Tilda stempel, dvs jeg har ikke brukt det får nå...Jeg sliter virkelig med å komme gjennom hele stempelbunken *knis* og til stadighet dukker det jo opp stempel som du bare MÅ ha =) Er det noen som kan si, med hånden på hjertet, at de har brukt ALLE stemplene sine? Jeg kan med hånden på hjertet si at jeg jobber med saken *knis*

This time I have used one of my "new" stamps. I really have to work a little harder to use all of my stamps. But it is so difficult! When you're nearly there... you can be sure some new stamps has found their way to your mailbox *giggle*

Kortet ble litt dystert kanskje, men med alt glitteret og bling'en så lyser det litt likevel... /

The DP is quite dark but with some glitter it's shines although...

Solan Gundersen

Da er det tid for å vise frem noe annet enn kort. Jeg har stort sett alltid noe i fingrene. Det er et sjeldent syn å se meg sitte forran tv'n å tvinne tommeltotter. Ikke at jeg ser så mye tv heller da.... For er jo alltids noe nytt man må utforske innen håndarbeide eller teknikker inne papirhobby for den sak skyld. Kan ikke påberope meg og være av det mest produktive slaget, men jeg koser meg! Og DET er jo det aller viktigste.

Jeg forelsket meg i Solan da jeg så han i garnbutikken. Han passer perfekt til å ha på hytta =) Den aller første filmen jeg så på kino var forresten Flåklypa. (Og siden har jeg sett filmen mange ganger sammen barna.) Kjell Aukrust har skapt noen underlige figurer som Ivo Caprino har laget dukkene til. Spørs om Solan får selskap av Ludvig etterhvert også...

I have something else than a card to show you to day. I fell in love with this cute knitted figure called Solan. I thought he would be perfect to have in our cabin =)
He is a figur from the movie "Pinchcliffe Grand Prix" made by Kjell Aukrust and Ivo Caprino Maybe you have seen it? It's shown on the telly every Christmas here in Norway.

Hvis du lurer på hvorfor det er så lenge siden jeg har laget et kort for the Pixie Cottage så er det fordi jeg har valgt og "gå ned" til en junior possisjon. Here comes a new card from me, haven't been a good blogger lately, but I think I'm back on track again =) I try to be a friend with my ProMarkers, but I still have to practise... *giggle* I think it's much more easier to use my Distress Ink, even if it takes me at least 1 hour to ink up one single image.

Endelig, her kommer et kort fra meg. Jeg har ikke vært en god blogger i det siste, men jeg håper og tror at jeg er på rett vei igjen. Nå har prøvd å bli venn med ProMarker tusjene mine, men vi er ikke god-venner enda... *knis* Det er så enkelt å ta frem Distress Ink'en og male i vei, men det tar minst en time å male ett motiv. Og med Promarker tusjene går det betydeligere raskere hvis man knekker koden da...
