The Pixie Cottage Challenge 37 "Fun and Games"

It's time for a new challenge at the Pixie Cottage. This time we have a sketch designed by Pam and the optional theme "Fun and Games". You can pick one of them or choose both =)

Da ble det atter en ny onsdag, og tiden er inne for en ny utfordring hos the Pixie Cottage. Denne uka har vi en skisse designet av Pam, som var med i designteamet vårt tidligere. I tillegg har vi temaet "Fun and Games" (gøy og lek) du kan velge å følge både skissa og temaet eller velge en av dem.

This time I have choosen the stamp "Hanna's sled" and have made a card who can be used as a christmas card. I think I have to start now if I shall be done in time for christmas....

Jeg har valgt å bruke stempelet"Hanna's sled", og jeg har brukt en "nøytral" tekst så det i prinsippet kan brukes som julekort eller kort til en som har bursdag på vinteren. Men skal jeg bli ferdig med julekortene i tide så må jeg nok begynne nå....

Believe in the magic

It's time for a new challenge over at the Pixie Cottage. This week we have a beautiful sketch designed by our team member Adrina. The optional theme is "Mellow Fruitfulness".

I have tried to make a card who can be interpreted in different ways. The magi of the things we can harvest in this season. And that we must belive in the magic who can make our grey days colorfull again.

But now over to my card....


Da er det på tide med en ny utfordring hos the Pixie Cottage. Som vanlig har vi en skisse og/eller du kan velge ukas tema "Mellow fruitfulness" (alt som kan relateres til høst..). Om dette kortet er særlig "høst aktig" kan vel diskuteres, men jeg har prøvd å lage et kort som kan tolkes på flere måter. Eller?

Meningen var å gi uttrykk for at høstens grøde kan oppleves som magi. For det er jo litt magisk at alle de små frøene vi sådde i vår har blitt til bugnende hager vi kan høste av.....?

Og en annen tolkning også relatert til måten motivet er fargelagt på, er at dersom det meste oppleves sort/hvitt og man ikke ser lyst på tilværelsen må man ikke miste troen på magien som kan gi fargene tilbake.

DA skal jeg ikke være "dypere" i dag.... *knis* så nå hopper vi over til kortet mitt =)

The sun is shining =)

Here in the middle of Norway the sun is shining today! Yesterday it was 17 degrees too =) And with a new challenge over at the Pixie Cottage, can the life get better? I desided to make an easle card this time. It's so fun to make! Should have done it more often...

This weeks challenge at the Pixie Cottage is a sketch made by Pam a previous DT member.
The optional is the theme "Furry Friends", and you can of course choose both =)

Her i midt-norge er det solskinn i dag! Vi hadde faktisk 17 grader i går også =) Så høstdagene kan godt nytes utendørs akkurat nå. Og med en ny utfordring hos the Pixie Cottage kan det jo ikke bli stort bedre? Denne gangen har jeg valgt å lage et easle kort, de er kjempemorsomme å lage! Så det kommer nok flere slike etter hvert...

Ukas utfordring hos the Pixie Cottage er en skisse laget av Pam som tidligere var en del av design teamet vårt. Og du kan velge temaet "furry friends" eller ta begge om du vil =)

COLORS OF FALL

Wednesday, again? It's unbelievable!! If the time flies in this way we soon will have CHRISTMAS! Maybe I should start on my chrismas cards? NO! First I gonna enjoy the fall =) and on the card of today I have used colors who reminds me of autumn leaves. Can you imagine something more beautiful than those leaves? I think I love something in all seasons of the year!

But now over to the main reason of this post, another challenge at the Pixie Cottage. This week we have got a beautiful sketch from our Guest Sketch Artist Cindy Haffner and the option on our challenge is the theme Family.

Onsdag nå igjen? Det er helt utrolig!! Hvis tiden skal fortsette å fly på denne måten så er det jo snart JUL! Kanksje jeg skulle starte på årets julekortproduksjon? NEEEI!
