A Layout dedicated to my daughter

Last weekend I attended a scrapbooking event Trøndersaksa.
It was a lot of fun, and a lot of inspiration from 69 other ladies =)

I joined a course and made this LO which I dedicated to my daughter,
who is far away for 10 months. It's only 8 left!!!
She is an exchange student in Arizona and she
got the most lovely host family

Here are the result of the course with Mija as the teacher.

I couldn't get the right color on this picture, it's not as turquoise as it looks like..

It's an open space under the photo where she can put the journaling.

A self made flower...

I have memory as a goldfish ;) I thought I should remember
what I have used of paint and other texture stuff.
(I guess I have to ask Mija.)

I don't know if this idea was as smart as I thought it would be. LOL
Now I'm totally a fan of this dirty mix media stuff!!
It means I have to bought some new stuff, ups... Shhh, don't tell anyone! ;)
And if my daughter likes it I may have to make some
more Layouts from her exiting year in Arizona.
But that's just a kind of bonus!

Thanks for visiting!

Hugs from Anne

Card to a RBK fan

Once again I have to blow away a lot of dust from this blog.
Because sometimes life happens!
But as I have said before,
I will always come back!

The past few weeks I packed away my studio and moved some of
it to a smaller room. Everything is a bit chaotic
and I've been taking care of some UFOs (unfinished objects)
there will soon be a small avalanche of posts
on my other blog Handmade by Anne.

It has been a strange time in the past month,
but now I've got the inspiration to make cards again.
Our daughter has in fact moved to be an exchange student
in Arizona for 10 months, time flies, so now it's only 9 months left!
Can't wait to have her safe back!

But I know she is having a great time ;)
She is a talented blogger, far better than her mother!!
It is so fantastic to be able to follow her through her blog ♥

Enough rambling for now...

The card I will show you today is made to fan of the city's greatest soccer team.

I have "manipulated" the teams logo and put in the name of the boy instead.
Date established is turned into confirmation date.
I always try to create small details that make the card uniqe.
Maybe that's why I'm a "snail scrapper"..  LOL

Thanks to Torhild who gave me the patterned paper with grass!
That's when all the pieces suddenly fell in place ;)

I have entered this card into these challenges:
Paper Crafting Journey - "Anything goes"
Natalie and Amy #1 - "Anything goes
My Time To Craft #187 - "Black, white and one other colour"
Tuesday Alchemy #30 - "Anything goes"
Paper Pretties #222 - "Sports theme"

Thanks for stopping by!
You make my day ;)
