A beauty in lilac....

How are you today?

Yesterday we got some snow, but today the sun is shining =)

and I'm continuing to make confirmation cards...

This time I have used the Sweet Pea image

"Love is Gone"  from Ching-chou Kuik's  Fantasy Art Collection.
(I don't think this one looks more sad than the other images
so I think she works well on this types of cards too.)

Steampunk or......?

This time I felt for making a Steampunk card, 

but I'm not sure if it looks like one...

Denne gangen ville jeg prøve meg på et Steampunk-kort,

men jeg er ikke sikker på om det ligner på den stilen....

Gøy var det i allefall!

And as you may know, I need a lot of confirmation cards this spring,

so I continue to make this kind of card for a while.

I will put on a name and date when I know who is going to get this one.

I felt for making a card with pearls =)

And as I need some more confirmations card it fits perfect.

It's no secret that I love my Sweet Pea stamps, 

especially for this kind of cards.

Og det passer jo perfekt da jeg trenger flere konfirmasjonskort.

Jeg valgte et Sweet Pea stempel, for det er jo ingen hemmelighet

When I woke up this morning I felt for creating a card  =)

What a strange feeling!  LOL

Sketcy Colors had a new color challenge today

so I desided to give it a try.

And I wanted to give myself a challenge to make my

very first Criss Cross Card.

Here is what I came up with....

to make a card again!!

I have embroidered a lot lately, on my costume

 (a kind of a national costume) and done some knitting.
The costume is not finished,
 but think I will be ready in time.

But finally I got some time to start making

this years confirmation cards. We are going to celebrate

our son's confirmation this spring. And he will need

some cards for his schoolmates and friends.

Det føles kjempegodt!! Endelig fikk jeg laget et kort!

I det siste har jeg brodert, brodert og brodert....

Kystdrakten er faktisk i rute!

(Det er i allefall det jeg trøster meg med =)

Sønnen skal konfirmeres til våren,

så det trengs noen kort til klassekamerater og venner.

For ikke å snakke om invitasjoner og bordkort.

Tror jeg har en plan...  *knis*

This digi stamp is called "Lil Lad Eric"

and is bought from Tickled Pink Stamps. 

I colored him up with Distress Ink.

The centiment is self made and it's covered with

Distress Crackle Paint "Rock Candy", Tim Holtz

Swiped over with some Distress Ink "Walnut Stain".

I love this technique. The stars got some of it too ;)

I'm sorry for the bad quality of the pictures.

Paper Bag Album

Finally, in the last minute, I got this Paper Bag Album ready for

my daughters 17th birthday last week =)

It's ready but not finished...

I have left some "open spaces" that she have to finish.

Like the front, I thought I should write Memories, My Friends or Sweet Moments

but as you can see, I decided to leave it blank.

I guess she figures out the right words herself ;)

I siste liten ble jeg omsider ferdig med papirpose-albumet

til datteren i huset. Hun fyllte 17 år forrige uke =)

Helt ferdig er den jo ikke, men resten får hun gjøre selv.

På coveret er det meningen at det skal stå noe med

store bokstraver. Mine venner, Minner eller hva hun selv måtte ønske..

Og inni er det selvsagt felter som må fylles inn etterhvert.

Bare spør hvis du lurer på noe! ;)

 



On the cover I have used a piece of one of her favorite jeans from the childhood 



I have added this flower onto the tag with 3D tape so it can be used as a locker.







I don't trust the double sided tape, *giggle* so I sew it together with some dental floss too =)



These 4 double pockets can contain 8 small Layouts.
